Cybersecurity advisory & vendor selection
Choose the security tools your business actually needs.
CyberStar IT helps businesses compare cybersecurity vendors, review overlapping tools, and turn security requirements into a practical buying shortlist.
Vendor-funded advice. No obligation to buy. If you purchase through us, we may earn a vendor commission; product pricing and contract terms are confirmed in the supplier proposal.
What are you trying to solve?
A renewal, an audit request, and a new security programme need different decisions. Start with the scope that matches your situation.

1. Book a conversation
Choose a time to discuss your company size, current tools, renewal dates, budget, and the outcome you need. Keep passwords, security logs, and sensitive customer data out of booking notes.
2. Organise supplier conversations
Use your stated requirements, existing licences, budget, and timeline to identify relevant vendor conversations. Ask the proposed provider to confirm technical coverage, integration, and delivery scope.
3. Confirm the scope
Choose whether to proceed. Any product purchase or specialist delivery is subject to a written supplier scope, pricing, responsibilities, and service terms.
Advice with the commercial model in the open.
CyberStar IT is a cybersecurity advisory and value-added reseller business. Our role is to help buyers define requirements and evaluate vendors. Vendor commissions can fund our advice when a buyer chooses to purchase through us.
Agree the responsibilities before you buy.
Implementation, managed monitoring, incident response, and compliance assessments require a named delivery provider and a written scope. A product purchase does not guarantee security, an audit opinion, or regulatory compliance. Our initial consultation is not a technical audit or an emergency response service.

Start with the gap you need to close: cloud configuration, workload protection, audit evidence, or someone to operate the controls. The buyer guide includes a comparison matrix and questions for supplier demonstrations.

How do I book a CyberStar IT call?
Choose an available time in the CyberStar IT calendar. The initial 30-minute video call is with Scott Goodman and covers your buying requirements, current tools, and possible vendor introductions. There is no obligation to buy.
What does CyberStar IT do?
We help businesses define cybersecurity buying requirements, compare vendors, and review tool overlap. We are an advisory and value-added reseller business; specialist implementation or managed services require an agreed provider scope.
How do you make money?
We may earn a vendor commission if you purchase through us. There is no obligation to buy after an initial consultation. Confirm all product prices, contract terms, and any separate delivery fees in the written proposal.
Can you work with our existing IT team or provider?
Yes. The initial discussion can focus on a specific renewal, shortlist, coverage gap, or overlap in your existing stack. Your internal team retains ownership of the buying decision.
Do you provide SOC 2 audits or HIPAA certification?
Our role is advisory and vendor selection. A SOC 2 examination is performed by an independent CPA firm. HIPAA is not a product certification that a software purchase can confer. Confirm legal requirements and assessment scope with the appropriate qualified advisers.
Is the initial consultation a technical security audit?
No. It is a discussion of your requirements and buying options. Technical testing, access to systems, implementation, and incident response need separately agreed scope, authorisation, delivery responsibilities, and pricing.
